At the beginning of 2008, LILAMA 3.,JSC has commenced to construct the hatch cover manufacture Plant at lot 3 – Bach Hac Ind. Park – Viet Tri city – Phu Tho province. Its area is 8,4 ha and total of capital is 282 billion VND (~16.62 million USD).

Lilama 3 has chosen this location in Bach Hac Industrial Park – Viet Tri city because of the following advantages:
•    This location is on national route of Red River – the traditional inland waterway and the most important route in the North. Now, this route is enough condition of security for the ships under 600DWT to come in and out easily. In the future, it will be upgraded to the secondary – class route. The main route of Red River is near the Plant’s location. Due to the sunken bank, the water depth is fairly big and not to dredge during the construction as well as the development process later. This location is also suitable for building the material and finished products shipping dock to Hai Phong and Quang Ninh through Red River and Thai Binh River system.
•    The land that is near the bank of Red River, is enough area to plan one comprehensive mechanical & hatch cover manufacturing Unit with the suitable scale.
•    Besides that, the infrastructure of this location is very convenient: traffic, communication, electric, water systems …will be connected from the public systems to the workshop. Thus, there will be more and more advantages during building as well as development process. Furthermore, it is one of industrial zones that are received the priority of Phu Tho province so it is got much special favour such as: the land rent, tax, ground compensation and clearance policy…
